Garden workday June 8, 2014

June 8, 2014

Thanks to rain and warm weather, the garden is bursting with spinach, arugula, swiss chard, cilantro, lettuce! Besides the usual maintenance (picking up garbage, weeding) we planted a few more carrots and beets. We also planted tomato and pepper seedlings that Michael got for free. Some of them look a bit sad, but hopefully with a little TLC they’ll pull through. Ernie worked on the potato bed. Next Sunday we plan to plant potatoes. We had such good luck last year.

Join us every Sunday at 3 PM. Newcomers always welcome.
